CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT

APPEARANCE CHANGES—
His hair is a little longer now, usually pulled back into a low ponytail or left loose; red horns extend from his skull, up straight. Red rings his red eyes, with slit pupils. His ears are slightly pointed. He has claws and prominent fangs.

He wore a black jacket tailored by the Hakagemachi seamstress, a white button-up with skulls on either side, his bracelet, necklace, and various piercings. Dark pants, kind of ripped. Boots.

RELATIONSHIPS DEVELOPED—
Samatoki kept to himself a lot of the time, but most notable in his relationships there are Kanae Kochou and Eugene A.J. Davis. Besides his Oni, of course.

KANAE KOCHOU — A Hagakemachi transplant, just like him. Though she housed an okami in her body — okami and oni generally not getting along at all — Samatoki and Kanae got along very well. They started out as drinking buddies, and maintained this relationship throughout their time there. He let himself be vulnerable with her on a number of occasions, and would do what he could to help her. They even started living together at some point.

EUGENE A. J. DAVIS — Another Hakagemachi comrade. Gene was incredibly drunk and taken care of their first night meeting, by a reluctant Samatoki. They had a friendly relationship thereafter, and Gene was quick to help Samatoki look for Nemu when he had that freak-out about her. They completed a few quests together, and Gene came to Samatoki's aid once he began disposing of bodies after a very long and tiring fight against the Lake Spirit.

GENKEI — The Oni housed in his body; a foul-mouthed and crude demon who makes it well-known to Samatoki that if he had the chance, he'd take over the body in a heartbeat. Despite this, Samatoki feels he understands Genkei. They bicker and argue at times, but have come to respect one another. Samatoki and Genkei both realize its in their best interest to work together, as one cannot live without the other. Literally.

PERSONALITY DEVELOPMENT—
A lot of Samatoki has leveled out, in some respects; in others, he's become a bit obsessive. He's more prone to hearing someone speak and generally thinking before he reacts or acts in the first place. He's a lot calmer and more thoughtful, though this isn't always positive thinking ...

When he hallucinated his sister being eaten, he sort of went off the deep end. It disturbed him greatly, and he went on a few rampages trying to get answers or to find her at all. When he wasn't furious, he was searching — often frantic, the same places, over and over again. He had learned to calm down a little about this, but Nemu still crossed his mind often ...
